Getting started
Create your family space
When you join Kin-Vine, you become your family's manager. Your private space is created instantly — no one can see it unless you invite them.
Start your family tree
Add yourself first, then add parents, children, siblings, and grandparents. Each person becomes a branch. You can keep growing the tree as far back as you like.
Invite your family
Send a private invite (by email or link) to relatives. When they join, they connect to their place on the tree and can add their own memories.
Add memories & photos
Upload photos, write the stories behind them, and tag the family members in each one. Everything you add lives safely in your private family space.
Plan gatherings & celebrate
Create events for reunions, birthdays, and holidays with RSVPs, and never miss a milestone with automatic reminders.

How do I start building my family tree?+
Open Kin-Vine, add yourself as the first person, then tap to add a parent, child, sibling, or grandparent. Each relative you add becomes a connected branch. There's no wrong order — start with who you know and grow from there.
How do I invite my family members?+
From your family space, choose Invite and send a private link or email. When a relative accepts, they're placed on the tree and can add their own photos, stories, and details.
Who can see our photos and information?+
Only the people you personally invite into your family space. Kin-Vine is private and invite-only — no ads, no data selling, and nothing is public.
How do I add a photo or memory?+
Choose Add Memory, upload your photo or video, write the story or date behind it, and tag the family members it includes. It's saved to your shared family timeline.
Is Kin-Vine safe for children?+
Yes. Kin-Vine is an adults-first space. Children under 13 don't get their own accounts — a parent manages a profile for them and shares on their behalf, so kids' memories stay protected.
What is the Kin-Vine Arena?+
It's a fun, optional way to stay engaged: your family earns points and badges for adding photos, stories, attending gatherings, and more. Each month has a themed journey, and the year crowns a Family Member of the Year.
How do I choose or change my plan?+
Every family starts with a free 7-day trial — no card required. From your member home, open Your Plan and pick Basic, Family, Legacy, or Lifetime. You can change anytime.
How do I cancel?+
You can cancel from your billing settings at any time. Your memories stay safe, and you can come back whenever you're ready.
